I’ve been living in Canada for two years and three months. Shaking my head as I type this. It is quite unbelievable how our family adventure has become our life and the norm. I just love this country and feel very proud to live here. Make no mistake we lived in the most beautiful part of the world, Cape Town, South Africa and boy do I miss that place for so many reasons which I will get to at some point.
Many of my Canadian friends have asked me to put my comments on this blog so you can hear my story, and then my crazy South Africans friends want to hear what it’s like…. SO: this is where it will unfold people!!!!
For those “ex-pats to be” out there, the same questions are constantly asked on the FB pages and forums – so perhaps I can address some of these for you (I will post these separately so it will be easy to find for again).
I am so excited about this blog, I know some of you will laugh and even cry. Some of you will find some really useful stuff here if you are new in Canada and I think you Canadians will discover new things you never knew existed too!!!
