Darlings, it's summer! You know when that warm breeze saunters into your kitchen? The mood is lifted and things smell different, look different and feel different. When I'm out and about on the streets of Oakville, Toronto... as summer slowly downloads, I look at people and I feel their summer vibes and energy. People are alive and maxing out on every single minute to inhale summer before it's gone.
If you are new to Canada and come from a country like South Africa or somewhere where it's sunny for at least half of the year, your skin takes some adjusting to the new climate. I found that living in a sunny country, my skin was hardened to the sun and elements somehow. Now that my skin only sees the sun for 3 to 5 months of the year, 3 of them being the harshest, my skin needs a lot of help in adjusting from winter to summer. I apply my sunscreen after my moisturiser. I find it incredible how the tint blends with my skin and my daughter's skins who have completely different skin tones to me. It is smooth, silky and evens out my skin tone beautifully! This is my "go to" on holiday when I don't wear extra foundation, this is all I wear. It's so light weight too.
